Eliminate Acne By Deciphering Your Skin Type

It can be hard to have acne and even harder to find the product that will help you in your struggle against acne. One thing that makes acne treatment so hard is the sheer amount of acne treatment products currently on the market today.

The search is relatively easy, but locating that specific acne treatment product that is just right for you can give you a headache, as it can be slightly irritating to go through all those different types of acne treatment products to locate that specific one that will fulfill your needs.

There are ways you can minimize this search and get that product you need much quicker. The best place to start your acne treatment products search is not on the products websites.

You have to know what kind of acne skin type you have. There are three basic skin types; however, many people have a combination of the three. These skin types are the following: oily skin, dry skin, and combination. Oily skin is often shiny and it attracts a lot of dirt and dust. This often causes blackheads when you have acne. Very oily skin does not require you to use any moisturizer at all, but it does require a good face wash and cleanser.

Dry skin looks dry and often flakes. This skin is usually less prone to acne. Purchase moisturizers that will lubricate your skin.

Combination skin is what most people have, where the oily T-zone comes into play. This type of skin usually requires products that state combination skin.

After you find out what type of skin you have, finding the right product will become much easier. Read up on skin types, as that will give you better indication of what your skin type is. This way you will not spend money on experimental acne treatment products that will not do anything for your acne problem.
