I believe that Affiliate Marketing is the fastest, easiest, and most effective way to break into the Internet Marketing field of business and I also believe it is one of the best Home Businesses you can start. Read on to find out why.
1. You don't need your own product.
The beauty of Affiliate Marketing is that you don't need a product to sell. There are plenty of merchants out there with plenty of products and they would be glad to pay you a commission to sell their products for them. That's what Affiliate Marketing is all about. Selling other people's stuff online.
2. You don't need a shopping cart on you website.
With Affiliate Marketing, you don't need to place a shopping cart on your website. And you don't need to provide any means of accepting credit cards or processing payments either. With Affiliate Marketing, you just endorse the product you are selling, and provide a link (your unique affiliate link, of course) to the merchant's site. Easy, right?
3. You don't have to store or ship products.
One of the biggest things that drew me to Affiliate Marketing was the fact that I didn't have to store or ship products. When I send a visitor to my merchant's website and they place an order, the merchant ships the product. I just sit back and wait for the commission. That is a sweet deal.
4. You don't have to deal with customer complaints. (Usually)Another big plus of Affiliate Marketing is that if a customer is not satisfied with the product he or she purchased they will usually go straight to the merchant to complain or request a refund. In rare cases, they may come back to your website and contact you through your information there, but that is really unusual. If they do come back to you, help them all you can. If you can't help them directly you can be a liason between them and the merchant. That way you can show your customer that you do, indeed, care about his satisfaction.
5. You can sell anything you want to.
With Affiliate Marketing, you can sell any product you want to sell. Of course, you will want to sell products that are related to the theme of your Website, but the point is this. No matter what you site is about, you can literally find hundreds of products and merchants that will fit. There is no shortage of things to sell on the Internet. 6. You make money while you're not even working.
The beauty of Affiliate Marketing is that once you have your site set up and tweaked you can easily put it on auto-pilot. Since your merchants are the ones who ship the product and handle customer inquiries, you can sit back and relax and still make money. Of course, you will want to keep an eye on your site to make sure things are running smoothly, and you will want to add fresh content from time to time to stay friendly to the search engines, but it's a real joy to wake up in the morning, check your stats, and find out that you made a couple of hundred dollars while you were getting your beauty sleep. Sweet.
