The Wizard Of Marketing

The Wizard Of Marketing
by Steve Clack
http://www.theprofittrain.com
I was going through some old videos the other evening (no I don't have a DVD player yet) when I came across 'The Wizard Of Oz'.
I stopped for a moment and realized that this is a great marketing story.
What? Let me explain.
As I write this story I think you will see what I mean.
One day Dorothy (Internet Marketer) was swept up in a terrible tornado (The Computer). She was taken to a strange land (The Internet).
In this strange land she met some strange characters. The Wicked Witch, for one, who was trying to get her and Toto (her money).
She tried every way she could to stop Dorothy from getting to the Land Of Oz (succesful business on the Internet). But Dorothy was determined to succeed.
She met her three friends, The Tin Man, Scarecrow and my favorite, The Cowardly Lion. RRRRoooaaarrr!
Together they formed a team determined to find their way to Internet success, oops!, I mean Oz. A Joint Venture of sorts.
So, you know the story, Tin Man needed a heart, Scarecrow a brain and Lion needed courage.
They went through a lot together to get to something they had all along.
Let me try to sum it all up for you by asking a few questions.
Do you have a brain?
Use it to see through all the hype that abounds daily on the Internet. Learn all you can and then learn some more. The world of Internet Marketing changes so rapidly you can never stop learning. If you do, it's over. All the time and money spent for nothing.
The Wicked Witch got you.
Do you have heart?
Use it to stick with your business. Put your heart into it. Breath life into your marketing. As the saying goes "Do what you Love and Love what you Do". If you don't, it's over. Shattered Internet dreams.
The Wicked Witch got you.
Last, but as they say, definitely not least, Do you have courage?
Courage to do what it takes to be successful. Don't let family and friends talk you out of it. Be strong. Have the courage to continue on your yellow brick road to success regardless of what people say or think. Soon they will be begging you to tell them how to do what you are doing. If you lose your courage, it's over.
The Wicked Witch got you.
So, now you see what I mean , "The Wizard Of Oz" is a great marketing story.
Use your brain, put your heart into it and have the courage to persevere.
You don't have to look for success, it's in every one of us. Don't wait for The Mighty Oz to show it to you. Use what you already have to succeed.
All you need is some fine tuning.
It's easier than you think.
The Mighty Oz has spoken.
Now, everyone stand, close your eyes, click your heels together three times and say,
There's no place like a home business,
There's no place like a home business,
There's no place like a home business.
