One good way to deal with anxiety is meditation. Meditation is a great way to get rid of anxious thoughts. There are books that walk you through meditation practices and explain the benefits. You can also find some wonderful tapes and CD's that have many different kinds of meditations. If meditation does not help you may want to talk to your physician. A physician should be able to give you advice about anxiety. A physician can also provide you with the proper medication if necessary.
